Meet our Team

Linda Baker RM, RN, RC.Hom                                   Tel: 021 222 9035

As a  a  Lead Maternity Care (LMC) midwife, I am a specialist in delivering maternity care to pregnant women and their families from pregnancy through birth and the first 6 weeks of your baby’s life.

Originally from the South West coast of Ireland, I’ve been in healthcare all my life. Initially as an Intensive Care and Flight Nurse  I incorporated midwifery in  1993. I have worked across the full spectrum of  care from really straight forward ‘normal pregnancies’  to highly complex -  in settings that range from remote rural where I am now  to tertiary level hospitals. To date, I have had the joy and privilege of birthing over 1000 babies in a variety of settings to a diverse array of mamas and their whanau.

15 years ago I obtained an Advanced Diploma in Homeopathy and so have developed a really comprehensive holistic philosophy and skill set to enhance the care I give you.

I am passionate about working in joyful happy partnerships that create confident future families. Laughter, intuition, great communication and clinical competency are the skill set  that I look forward to sharing with you.

I am  excited to work with the Aspiring Midwives practice as an  LMC  midwife.

I feel very privileged to work with women and their families during this special time and have a firm belief that childbirth is a normal life event.

My goal as your midwife is to provide you with quality and safe care, keeping you at the center of my care so you feel empowered to make the decisions that are right for you and your baby.
